Service FAQ's

Q: How long should I expect my system to be in your shop?

A: Our computer diagnostic process usually takes around 24 hours. Once diagnostics are completed, our service advisor will contact you and explain our findings, options for repair, and give a repair estimate. Upon approval, a tech will begin repair. Service usually takes 2-4 business days to complete. Additional time may be required if parts are ordered for repair.

Q: I have very important pictures and files on my computer. Will I lose them?

A: We understand that your data is important to you and we take extreme care in ensuring your data is safe while your equipment is in our care. As long as your hard drive is not totally damaged, your data can be backed up and transferred to a new hard drive or even a new computer. For even extra caution, we offer all of our customers the option for Data Assurance service before we begin your service. Ask your service advisor for more information.


Q: Can you service older computers?

A: Yes. However, if you are using a computer that is more than 8 years old that is running Windows XP or Windows Vista, we recommend replacing your computer with either one of our gently used computers or purchasing a brand new system. We are able to transfer your data from your old computer to your new one. Ask your service adviser for more information.

Q: Do you service Apple products?

A: Yes, but our services are limited for Apple products. Please ask our service advisor for more information.

Satisfaction Guaranteed Statement

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return your purchase in the complete and original packaging together with all accessories, software, and manuals with your original sales invoice within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase. We will gladly replace or repair the item purchased or refund your money at our discretion. Computers, Laptops, Servers, Netbooks, Batteries, Tablets, and Special Order items must be returned within fifteen (15) days of purchase and can only be exchanged for same item or store credit. A 15% restocking fee may be applied to refund requests. Refurbished/Used items and software are not returnable and sold as-is. For service warranty, see Mann Limited Service Warranty (LSW) for details. A $30 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
